Series of Collisions Involving the Same Vehicle

The Medicine Hat Police Service (MHPS) Traffic Unit is investigating a series of collisions involving the same vehicle that occurred at multiple locations throughout the city on June 24, 2026.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., MHPS received a report of a red Dodge Ram involved in a collision near Carry Drive SE and Cameron Road SE. The vehicle struck a lamp post and a parked vehicle before leaving the area.

The same vehicle was subsequently involved in a second collision near Carry Drive SE and Cooper Road SE, where it again struck a lamp post before leaving the area. At approximately 11:50 a.m., the vehicle was reported to have been involved in another collision at Southview Drive SE and 13 Avenue SE, after which it again left the area.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., the vehicle was observed travelling southbound on Southridge Drive SE toward South Boundary Road SE. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Southridge Drive SE and South Boundary Road SE, proceeded through the intersection, and collided with infrastructure on the south side. The driver then lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over.

The driver, a 45-year-old individual, was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Charges are pending as the MHPS Traffic Safety Unit continues its investigation.
